Our preschool offers a balance of structured learning and free play, as well as instruction in the Catholic faith. Our program is designed for kindergarten readiness. It begins to build a firm foundation which will make learning fun and help young children develop friendships, self-esteem, and respect for themselves and others. The curriculum is engaging, fun and hands-on. Our teachers are passionate, caring and highly credentialed educators. We invite you to come for a tour! Please contact Veronica Day, Preschool Director, at (630)338-8200. We look forward to welcoming your family!
We are Salesian at heart. What does that mean? Apart from the fact that our preschool was founded by the Salesian Sisters, it means that we live out our faith according the model of St. John Bosco, a Salesian priest who was a teacher, catechist, writer, and founder of religious congregations dedicated to education of the youth. Along with our devotion to Mary Help of Christians and our actively seeking Jesus in the world, we abide by an educational system based on joy and hope. In the true spirit of St. John Bosco, we see the face of God in each and every child. It is a great honor to share the tradition of our faith together as a community! On behalf of our faculty and staff, I warmly welcome you to our Salesian family!
St. Patrick Catholic Preschool began in 2011, under the leadership and direction of Sister Isabel Garza, FMA, a Salesian Sister of St. John Bosco, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. We are blessed to have had a firm foundation established by the Salesians. In our preschool lobby, you will see a statue of Mary Help of Christians which was given to us by Sister Liz Ryan, FMA. We continue our devotions to Salesian saints throughout the each school year. We are privileged to continue the tradition of joyfully educating our young people in the faith.
“Let the little children come to me.” – Luke 18:16

St. John Bosco said, “It’s easy to be a saint. Do the ordinary things in an extraordinary way!”
