My name is Lynne Green, and along with my colleague, Larry Rossi, I’ve been an instrumental teacher at St. Patrick Catholic School for nearly 30 years. In addition, I have my own studio in St. Charles where I teach private flute lessons. I believe the joy of making music through learning to play a band instrument should be made available to all interested students.
I earned my Bachelor of Music (with distinction) and Master of Music degrees from the University of Michigan School of Music and hold certification to teach music to students in grades K-12. The Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra honored me with their “Music Educator of the Year” Award in 2015.
My husband and I live in Naperville with our dog, a Belgian Tervuren (“Nitro”), whom my husband trains in agility. In my free time I enjoy indoor cycling year round and gardening in the summer.
